“Who made you king?” Crow called up to Hawk.
Hawk peered down at Crow. “I can fly the highest and fastest.”
Crow cackled. “Really? Fly to the farmer’s house and steal
his watch.”
Hawk took flight. When he flew out of the fireplace the
farmer’s wife hit him with a skillet.
Moral: Pride goes
before a fall.
